In the days of mergers, two legendary railroads, the Southern and the Norfolk & Western railroads, merged to form Norfolk Southern. The Southern RR originally owned the steam locomotive #630. After being rescued and restored it is still pulling excursion trains today.
A "Gandy Dancer" symbolized the era when railroads were built and maintained largely by human muscle, teamwork, and skill. A man would call out "cadence" and the crew would respond while pushing or lifting in unison. This candle scent is a blend of sandalwood, mahogany and teakwood.
